testing equipment in order to obtain results quickly.
This removes the risk that water samples
will deteriorate during the trip to a laboratory.
Faecal coliforms and total coliform counts are carried out using membrane filtration equipment. The microbiological analysis of the water is critical in determining whether the water is safe to drink. Our coliform (ecoli) tests check if the water is pure and can be used to trace the source of contamination if bacteria are found in the water.
Principle chemical quality tests are carried out in the field using chemical reagent methods and the results are available immediately.
